PHINLEY RONALD MOREHOUSE

MOREHOUSE, PHINLEY RONALD Phinley R. Morehouse, formerly of Temperance Vale passed away January 13, 2007 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Phinley was born in Zealand in 1927, a son of the late William and Mary Ann (Brewer) Morehouse. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Millville Branch 59. Phinley's two favorite pastimes were fishing and playing cards. He is survived by four daughters, Sheila Jones (Terry), Hawkins Corner, Esther Donovan (Neil), Long Settlement, Sherril Cullins (Sidney), Oakland and Pam Christie (Arnold), Temperance Vale; five sons, Ronald (Dianna), Nackawic, Cecil (Elaine), Bull Lake Road, Graydon (Pam), Marysville, Adrian (Sharleen), Woodstock and Perry (Terry), Bull Lake Road; a sister, Greta Brewer (Arnold), Zealand; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Phinley was predeceased by his wife, Gladys M (Hickey) Morehouse in 1984; a son, Royce in 1976; a grandson, Jeffery Clark in 2005; a sister, Mary Hanson; and three brothers, Raymond, Burchill and Ervine Morehouse. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Walton officiating. Interment will be later at Temperance Vale Cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Murray Chase, Leslie Chase, Ronald Ginson, Jason Neilson, Timothy Lawson and Edwin Morehouse.
