WINSTON (WINK) ELMER ROSBOROUGH

ROSBOROUGH, WINSTON (WINK) ELMER Winston (Wink) E. Rosborough of Greenhill Lake passed away January 27, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Winston was born at Saint John in 1942, a son of the late Elmer and Elma (Downey) Rosborough. For many years he was a driver for Allied Van Lines, traveling across Canada. For the past twenty years he was employed with Trius as a taxi driver and tour bus driver. Winston is survived by his wife, Ardith M. (Hanson) Rosborough; a son, Troy Firth (Tracy), Zealand; two granddaughters, Dionne and Lindsey Firth; his mother-in-law, Doris Hanson, Greenhill Lake; a brother-in-law, Darrel Hanson (Marjorie), Greenhill Lake; several cousins, nieces, nephews and his pride and joy, his cat Squeeky. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an uncle, Winston Downey; his father-in-law, Ashley Hanson; and three brothers-in-law, Stephen, Dale and Garnet Hanson. Resting at the Lakeside Sanctuary of Greenhill Lake Camp, Greenhill Lake Road, off Route 104 with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Lakeside Sanctuary on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer and Pastor Ron Mercer officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
