ROSS, CLARENCE FREDERICK JR. The passing of Clarence Frederick Jr. Ross, husband of the late Audrey (Munn) Ross, of Boiestown, occurred on January 30, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born on July 12, 1924 in Holtville, he was a son of the late Roy and Ivy (Carson) Ross. Clarence worked for the Canadian Armed Forces for 22 years, was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Normandy Branch # 78, Boiestown for 30 years. He also worked as a Warden in Rocky Brook and enjoyed fishing, hunting and fly tying. He is survived by two daughters, Beverley Grabowski (Ken) of Boiestown, Audrey L. Balmer (Bradley) of Moncton; one son, Terry L. Ross (Marie) of London, ON; four granddaughters, Dawn (Joe) Hunter, Kammie Grabowski, Ariana (Wally Fairley) Grabowski and Kaelyn Ross; four great grandchildren, Madison and Chase Balmer, Taryn Fairley and Ryan Hunter; three sisters, Flora (Merlin) Rich of Paris, ON, Dorothy (James) Forbes of Nashwaak Bridge and Georgena (Tony) Boucher of Boiestown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Stella Scott and Merle Reid and two brothers, John Ross and Arthur Ross. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Normandy Branch # 78, Boiestown are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 pm for a Legion Tribute Service. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Beverly Daley officiating. Interment will take place at Boiestown United Church Cemetery, Boiestown, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Kidney Foundation or to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
