CURTIS, FREDERICK AMOS The death of Frederick Amos Curtis, husband of Carol Louise Grant-Curtis, occurred on February 7, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Lyman and Gussie (Stickles) Curtis. He was a member of the Cotton Mill Ministries. Besides his wife, Frederick is survived by two sons, Phillip Curtis (Kelly) and Jonathan Curtis (Melissa) all of Fredericton; three daughters, Laurie Curtis (Doug) of Fredericton, Yvonne Curtis (Stephen) and Pamela Curtis (Mark) all of ON, and their mother, Norma; eight grandchildren; one step-son, Carl Brown (Aneas) of Fredericton; two step-daughters, Brenda Haab (Ronald) of AB and Cheryl Morehouse (Billy) of Fredericton; four brothers, David Curtis (Christine), James Curtis (Reta), Garfield Curtis (Bonnie), Eldon Curtis (Mary); five sisters, Florence Curtis, Frances Curtis, Mary LeBlanc (Gerald), Ellen Jane Carruthers (Edward) all of Fredericton and Margaret Robichaud (Fidel) of AB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Aiden and nephew, Larry Robichaud. Although there will be no visitation. A Celebration Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 1 pm with Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. Honourary Pallbearers are Gary Curtis, David Coulson, Phillip Harding and Gordon Bye. Reception to follow in the fireside room. Interment to take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to Cotton Mill Ministries, to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
