DOUCETTE, ERIC JOSEPH Passed away peacefully February 12, 2007 after a short but valiant battle against cancer at DECH. Born February 11, 1936 in Rogersville, NB son of the late Ben and Genevieve (Hache) Doucette. Survived by his wife of 47 years Anita M (Richard) Doucette; his 3 children, Charlene of Fredericton, Richard of Clearwater Fla, Donald (Janet) of Montreal Que; and the brightest lights of his life, his 3 granddaughters, Kimberly, Jessica and Jennifer of Florida as well as their mother Marianne Myers and Anne Marie Dougherty; also survived by 2 brothers Andrew (Jean) of Minto, Benoit of Minto; 4 sisters, Marie (Bobby) of Montreal, Melina (Leonard) Colette, Janet McIsaac of Minto and Sophie (Maxime) Richard of Minto; as well as many brothers and sisters in law; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Marcel, Raymond and Leo; sister Rita Hache; an infant son. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, February 15th, 2007 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father P. Stephen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Palliative Care Unit of the Chalmers Hospital.
