HUM, YUK PING The death of Yuk Ping Hum of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, February 15th, 2007. Born in Canton, China she was the daughter of the late Ng Wing Jak and Ng Wai Ying and the wife of Tommy Hum. Survived by four sons, Thomas Hum (Danielle) of Ottawa, Acker Hum of Fredericton, Jewett Hum of Ottawa and Melvin Hum of Fredericton; one daughter, Maya Hum of Ottawa; Yuk Ping's siblings, Kwok Hai Ng (Yeen Lin) of Toronto, Harry Ng (Kok Lin) of Markham, ON, Yuk Mei Chan (Hong Chan) of Hong Kong, Yuen Wah Cheung (Man Fu) of Mississauga, ON and Yvonne Lui (Geoffrey) of Hong Kong. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 20th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Peter G. Somerville Director of Pastoral Care York Manor will officiate.
