RIDEOUT, SISTER FERNE R.H.S.J. Sister Ferne Rideout, R.H.S.J. died peacefully on February 23, 2007 at St. Joseph Regional House in Amherstview, ON, 92 years of age of which 72 years were spent in Religious Life. Sister Ferne was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick the daughter of Margaret McCormack and Clarence W. Rideout. Sister is predeceased by her parents, her sisters Monica Kavanaugh, Edith Gillespie, Frances Bridgeo, and Gladys Rideout, R.H.S.J. and her brother Hubert. Sister Ferne is survived by her sister, Margaret Gorman, of Fredericton, N.B. and many devoted nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at St. Joseph Regional House, 16 Manitou Crescent E. Amherstview, ON on Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3 Briscoe Street, Amherstview, ON on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary's Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
