STEWART, HILDA DOREEN (CONNORS) After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Hilda Doreen (Connors) Stewart, wife of Clayton A. Stewart, of Doaktown, NB, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, on March 5, 2007, surrounded by her family that she loved dearly, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on April 6, 1927 in Upper Blackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Elsie (Arbeau) Connors. Hilda was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, NB. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Bernice Arbeau (Delbert) of Doaktown, Thelma Carter (Charles) of Kouchibouquac, Janet Stewart of Doaktown, Karen Stewart (Dwight) of Doaktown, Kimberley Stewart (Greg) of Blissfield; five sons, Hayward (Winnifred) of Doaktown, Paul (Audrey) of Doaktown, Richard (Wendy) of Mississauga, ON, William (Barbara) of Doaktown, Donald (Susan) of Medford, Oregon; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, four brothers, Lyle Connors of Douglastown, Irvine Connors (June) of Doaktown, Blaine Connors of Doaktown, John Connors (Shirley) of Hamilton, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Margaret. Visitation will take place at First Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, NB on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Hayward Stewart officiating, Rev. Richard and Rev. Donald Stewart assisting. Interment to take place at the First Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Doaktown, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the New Pew Fund at the church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
