PALMER, NORRIS NORAL The passing of Norris Noral Palmer, husband of Bird Ruth (Smith) Palmer, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on March 5, 2007 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on September 10, 1934 in Ludlow, NB, he was a son of the late Fred and Pearl (Nagle) Palmer. Norris was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church. He was retired from the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Terri Moore (Paul), their children, Paige and Cole; grandchildren, Matthew Palmer (Laura) and Jillian Johnston (Kevin); two great grandchildren, Emma and Tyson Johnston; two sisters, Joycie Spencer and Bessie Furlong; one brother, Jim Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved son, Marty Palmer and one brother, Orie Nagle. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A private family service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating and grandson, Matthew Palmer assisting. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.
