RALPH FOSTER HOWLAND

HOWLAND, RALPH FOSTER At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 2, 2007 Ralph Foster Howland of Fredericton passed away at the age of 84. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy (Whitlock) Howland. Ralph served with the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II. He was also a self-employed salesman for many years. Ralph was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch # 4 Fredericton. He is survived by his children Ralph Howland II of California, Bruce Howland of Illinois, Rodney Howland of Ontario and Cheryl Howland of British Columbia; many loving grandchildren; a brother Jack. He is also predeceased by his brothers Kenny and Bruce; his sisters Genieve, Mary, Philis and Hazel. No visitation by request of the family, A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 8, 2007 at 2:00pm Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, N.B. with Rev. Reg Miller officiating. Honourary pallbearers for the service will be Harry Libbey, Gene Cavanaugh, Danny Stubbs, David Howland, Brian Reeder, Ralph Howland III. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.4, Fredericton will hold a tribute service at the funeral.
