VAN DOREN, HENRICA GERTRUDA (RICKY) The death of Henrica Gertruda (Ricky) Van Doren of Minto occurred Friday, March 16th, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Holland, she was the daughter of the late Antoon and Henrica (Hendriks) Daamen. A retired kindergarden teacher, she was a member of the Minto Retired teachers Association, a member of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's League. Ricky is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Campbell & (Rodney) of Minto; three sons, Martien (Marty) & (Debbie) of London, ON, Harry & (Carol) and Bernard (Bernie) & (Kelly) both of Minto; 8 grandchildren, Craig, Amanda, Wade, Lana, Melanie, Jordan, Holly and Kaleb; 7 brothers, Koos of Hardwood Ridge, Martin (Marion) of Saint John, Henry (Blanche), Johannes both of Minto, Corrie (Annette), Gerrit (Cheryl) both of Hardwood Ridge and Theodore of Minto; 5 sisters, Theresa Arts (Harry) of Ontario, Martina Steele (Ralph) of Fredericton, Netta Brown (Alvin) of Hardwood Ridge, Annie Daamen of Moncton and Christina Bosse of Hardwood Ridge; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Anthonius (Anthony) Van Doren in 1999. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Monday, March 19th, 2007 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Minto with Father Peter Stephen officiating.
