FITTON, DOROTHY MARION (FEB. 24, 1912 - MARCH 21, 2007) Dorothy passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She is survived by daughter Anne Owen (Ronald F.) granddaughter Martha Ecker (George), grandson Richard Owen (Karley) and great-grandchildren Tyler Owen-Saad, and Jacob, Olivia and Carys Owen. She was predeceased by husband James and grandson Ronald James. She worked in a bank for a time before she became a Primary Grade Teacher where she enjoyed 30 happy years where she touched many lives. She was an accomplished organist and pianist and played for her friends up until her 95th birthday. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 26th, 2007 at 7:00 pm. Mr. Gerald Weston officiating.
