VIDA FERN (WEBBER) WALSH
WALSH, VIDA FERN (WEBBER) It is with saddened hearts that the family of Vida Walsh wish to announce her death on March 24, 2007, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Vida was born in Briggs Corner, NB, on May 7, 1919. She is survived by granddaughters, Suzanne and Paula (Todd) Smith; great-granddaughters, Peyton, Sydney and Olivia Smith, all of Moncton, NB; and one sister, Connie (Paul) Hawkes of Windsor, Ontario; two sisters-in-law, Connie Webber and Clara Webber both of Chipman, and several special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; her son, Paul; her daughter-in-law, Linda; her parents, Harry and Viola (Bishop) Webber; and three brothers, Murray, Malcolm and Eldon (Pal) Webber. Vida was a member of the 2nd Chipman United Baptist Church and Ladies Cinderella Group, and active member of the Progressive Conservative Party, holding the office of the local President of the Ladies PC Association for several years, and a member of the L.O.B.A, having served as Worthy Mistress. Vida will be remembered by many campers as an excellent cook at Camp Wegesegum in her earlier years. Resting at The Chipman Funeral Home, 28 Northrup Drive, with visitation from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Monday, March 26, 2007. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 2 pm from the 2nd Chipman United Baptist Church with Rev. David Egers officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the 2nd Chipman United Baptist Church or The Gideon Society would be appreciated by the family.
