FRANCIS, AUDREY IRENE (FLEMMING) The death of Audrey Irene (Flemming) Francis of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late John Francis occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 26, 2007. Born in Douglas, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Lyna (Hawkins) Flemming. She had worked for the Department of Social Services and the University of New Brunswick Book Store and was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church. Audrey is survived by two sons, John (Margaret) Francis of Vancouver, BC and Robert (Michelle Daigle) Francis of Fredericton, NB; three grandchildren, Ben, Mathieu and Julie; two sisters, Georgene Tomilson and Loena Todd both of Fredericton, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Lorence Flemming and one sister Madeline Jarvis. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11 am from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
