BELLIVEAU, NORMAN ROSS The death of Norman Ross Belliveau of Fredericton, NB occurred at his home on Sunday, April 1, 2007. Born in Moncton, NB on December 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Clovis and Ethelberth Belliveau and the husband of Dorine (Leblanc) Belliveau. He was a member of St. Dunstan's Parish for thirty-two years. Graduating in 1955 from St. Francis Xavier University with a BSc. Degree, he continued his education at the Technical University of Nova Scotia receiving his BSc. EE in 1957. He began a career which spanned thirty-eight years retiring in 1995 in Fredericton from Westinghouse Canada. An avid golfer in his college and younger years, he was later introduced to salmon fishing and thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends at his camp on the Miramichi in the peaceful and natural surroundings of the area. How he enjoyed casting a line to catch the slippery creatures! Interested in all sports, he was a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadians. A quiet, gentle man with a dry sense of humour he will be forever cherished and remembered by his loving family and grandchildren, whose lives he followed with keen interest. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorine; three daughters, Carrie (Kevin) McArthur, Kimberly Justice, Nancy Lee; three sons, Ross, Brent, Mark (Tammie) Belliveau and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Fay (William) Wright and sisters-in-law, Huberte (Douglas) Pierce, Pauline Leblanc; one niece and eight nephews. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 3 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, April 4 from 1-3 pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dunstan's Church on Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 pm with Rev. Gerald White as celebrant.
