COUGHLAN, MAMIE B.F. Miss Mamie Coughlan of Blackville passed at the Miramichi Hospital on Sunday April 8, 2007, at the age of 77. Born in Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Sturgeon) Coughlan. She was a teacher and taught at the Vocational School in Saint John, NB. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Church in Blackville. Mamie is survived by one sister, Margaret O'Neil of Fredericton; one brother, Robin (Ardyth) of Lakeville Corner, NB; one brother-in-law, Robert Sturgeon; one sister-in-law, Grace Coughlan; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Myrna Coughlan and Pauline Sturgeon; three brothers Leland, Elgee, Aubrey and his wife Laura. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Blackville on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 2 pm at St. Andrew's United Church in Blackville with Rev. Penny Postlethwaite officiating. Burial will be later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Church Building Fund or the memorial of the donor's choice.
