ELSIE VICTORIA RIDGLEY
RIDGLEY, ELSIE VICTORIA It is with deep sadness that the family of Elsie Victoria Ridgley announces the passing of a beloved mother and grandmother on April 26, 2007. Born May 24, 1923 in Dartmouth NS Elsie was the eldest daughter of the late Milton Boutilier and the late Edna (nee Henley). Elsie is survived by her children, George (Donna) of New River Beech, Carolyn of Moncton, Thomas (Rose) of Rothesay and Noreen (Ondon) of Douglas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren are George Jr. (Alex and Jacob), Kimberley, Jonathan and Kelly of New River Beech; Mandi (Isabella and Ava) of Halifax, Jacob of Merville, BC; Dawn (Tyler and Kyle) of Noonan and many nieces and nephews. Elsie had a strong belief in her church and her family would like to give a special thanks to and The Reverend Chris VanBuskirk of St. George's Anglican Church for religions guidance, his generosity of time he showed while she lived in Moncton. Elsie is predeceased by her husband, George Clayton Ridgley, January 2004 and son,David Edwin Ridgley September 1974. Elsie's family includes Dorothy Perks of Riverview, Norma Calhoun of Riverveiw, Roy and Bev Boutilier of Dieppe, Harold and Vera Boutilier of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia Elsie was a former member of St. Mary's Anglican Church in Fredericton where she was past president of the ACW, she was also Worthy Past Matron of Stephen Lodge #32 OES in Fredericton. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30th, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ian Wetmore will officiate. Interment will be in the Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
