CARTEN, ANNIE MARGARET (MCLAUGHIN) It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Annie M. Carten, on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Formally of French Lake. She will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 50 years, Fred Carten; one daughter, Cathy of Fredericton; four sons, Fred Jr. and wife Kathy of Lincoln, Rick, Bruce, and Casey all of Fredericton; four grandchildren, Corey, Jonathon, Daniel and Terri Lynn all of Fredericton also two sisters, Nellie Jones of Fredericton Junction and Hazel Crawford of Fredericton. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Stanley McLaughlin; one sister Inez; four brothers, Norman, Clarence, Arthur and Tommy. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, New Brunswick on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 11pm with Pastor Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will be held in the Lower Hainesville Cemetery, Lower Hainesville, New Brunswick.
