COREY, JAMES STILLMAN WWll Veteran February 2, 1923 to May 2, 2007 Passed away peacefully and with dignity after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. Survived by his wife, Gertrude; children, Wallace (Louise), Garfield (Eileen), Jim (Linda), Wayne, Myrtle (Terry), David (Cecilia), and step-daughter Marsha, as well as 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wives, Mabel and Cora; and his son, Richard; as well as four infant children. Many thanks to the Gatineau Hospital Palliative Care team for their care and compassion as well as the love and support of close family friend, Sue Carnegie. At Jim's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial celebration of Jim's life will be held May 10th, 2007 at 1:30pm, at the York Funeral Home Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive. A reception will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
