Len Mowchenko died of cancer on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. He passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed. He was devoted to his family, each of whom has many cherished memories. Len was a hard worker and a good provider. He was particularly fond of good food, good wine, and stimulating conversation. Len also enjoyed spending time being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Len is predeceased by his father John, mother Luba, brother George and sister Margie. He is survived, loved and greatly appreciated by his wife Jean Ann, his sons Jay and Joel, his daughters-in-law Marilou and Cheryl, his grandchildren Keisha, Joshua, Olivia, and Eron, his mother-in-law Grace Cave, his siblings Alex, Mike, Christine, Irene, and Gloria, special in-law Mel Smith and many close nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at The First Free Methodist Church, 375 Hochelaga St. W., Moose Jaw, on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Chad Vankoughnett will officiate.
