WHELAN, STELLA BLANCHE The death of Stella B. Whelan, age 89, wife of the late J. Walter Whelan, of Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB, occurred on June 3, 2007, at the Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late John and Dora (Wetmore) Neill. She is survived by her son; Roger and Patricia Whelan, Hartland, and daughter; Doreen Whelan, Fredericton, grandchildren; Andrew and Kelly Whelan, Hartland, sister; Agnes and Carl Clinton, Vernon, BC, brother; Lloyd and Blanche Neill, Springfield, sister-in-law; Ida Neill, Hatfield Point, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers; William, Ernest, Ray and Frederick, and sister Grace. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton. Visiting on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel, on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. followed by interment in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB.
