DAVIS, CAROL ANN The passing of Carol Ann Davis of Fredericton, NB occurred at the York Manor Nursing Home 0n June 17, 2007 at the age of 68. Born in Cross Creek, NB, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Mabel (Currie) Hood. Carol was employed at the Carousel Flower Shop and later with the Trius Group. She was Presbyterian by faith and an Honorary Member of Orange Lodge #656, Nashwaaksis. Survived by her husband of 50 years Rex Davis; four children Don (Cathy) of Fredericton, Ann Martin (Richard) of Burtt's Corner, Earl (Patti) of Fredericton, Colleen (Tony Watson) of Fredericton; seven grandchildren Mary Ellen, Mark, Annie, Matthew, Sarah, Alexandria, and Brook Lynn; great-grandchild Adrian; brothers Joe Hood(Emily) and Ray Hood (Paulette) all of Cross Creek; aunt Ida Currie of Stanley; several nieces, nephews and several cousins. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Friday June 22, 2007 from St. Peters Presbyterian Church, Stanley NB at 2:00pm with Rev. Kim Barlow officiating. An Orange Lodge service will be held at the church on Friday beginning at 1:30pm. Interment will be in the church cemetery. For those who wish memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
