SAUNDERS, D. ARDEAN The death of D. Ardean Saunders of Gagetown, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Thursday, June 28th, 2007. Born in South Waterville, NB, he was the son of Lena (Hickey) Saunders and the late Donald Saunders and husband of Nanette (Biddiscombe) Saunders. Ardean was a loving husband of forty- five years to Nanette. He was a caring father, grandfather and friend. He was a Fire Fighter for the Department of National Defense for many years and also was a volunteer Fire Chief in Gagetown. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Survived by his wife, Nanette; his mother, Lena of Gagetown; his children, June George (Terry) of Cold Lake, AB, David Saunders (Melissa) of Moncton, Joey Saunders of Montreal, Dennis Saunders of Gagetown and Michael Saunders (Ruth) of Waterborough, NB; ten grandchildren, Meghan, Linzi, Courtney, Jeremy, Corey, Sabrina, Todd, Amanda, Travis and Jessica as well one sister, Grace Chapman of Cody's, NB. Predeceased by his father, Donald and two brothers, Ronald and Richard. There will be no visitation by request. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Gagetown Legion on Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 from 2 to 4 PM. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
