DUBE, LEOPOLD ESQ At home in Fredericton, passed away Léopold Dubé Esq. formally of Edmundston, on July 7, 2007, at the age of 82 years, 11 months. He is survived by his wife Verna Wortman, his only son Richard (Edmundston), a brother, Attorney Raymond (Dalhousie), 4 sisters, Therese Neil (Edmundston), Gisele Labbe (Florida), Jeanne D'Arc Sormany and Rita, both of Edmundston. M.Dubé was predeceased by a sister, Yvette and a brother, Fernand, Attorney in Campbellton, who was at a time held various cabinet positions in the Hatfield government and mayor of Campbellton. He was also uncle to Jean Dubé, MP in Ottawa and MLA in Fredericton. M. Dubé was an attorney who practised Law in Edmundston for 25 years, before being appointed Deputy Judge of the Provincial Court of NB for a few years, then nominated to the position of Deputy Registrar of the NB appeals court, position he held until his retirement. The funeral and burial was held in Edmundston on July 11, 2007.
