SMITH, C. HELEN 92, of Elgin, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born in Burton, she was the daughter of the late Ashley and Nellie (Starr) Young. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Elgin Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Edwin (Rose) of Lorneville, David (Judy) of Elgin, Paul (Karen) of Fredericton; daughters-in-law, Luella, Brenda Prime; brother, Donald Young (Shirley) of Fredericton; 18 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Willard Smith; sisters, Winifred, Marjorie, Ernestine; brother, Edwin. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 1pm until time of service. The funeral service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 2pm, Rev. J. Allen officiating.
