DALEY, IRENE HELEN The passing of Irene Helen (Crowley) Daley, wife of the late James Daley of Fredericton Junction, NB, occurred on August 5, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born September 13, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Cornelius and Christine (Essensa) Crowley. Irene was a retired teacher and a past member of the New Brunswick Teachers Association. Irene is survived by three sons, Kevin (Nancy) of Fredericton, John (Barbara) of Fredericton, Lester (Theresa) of Oromocto Lake; one daughter, Gertrude (Stillman) Maynard of Fredericton Junction; one brother, Billy O'Brien of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Irene was predeceased by six brothers, Alfred, Kenneth, William, Walter, John and Francis; six sisters, Mary, Alice, Annie, Gertrude, Elizabeth and Rosella; two grandchildren; a daughter-in-law; and her step-father, Bill O'Brien. Although there will be no visitation, a mass of Christian Burial will celebrated from St. Columba Catholic Church in Fredericton Junction on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11 am with Father Bonaventure Annan officiating. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cork, NB. Pallbearers are Lori Burgoyne, Matthew Armstrong, Blair Long, Michael Brown, Shawn Daley and Andrew Daley. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Immaculate Conception Church or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
