LEJEUNE, JOHN 1924-2007 John LeJeune of Point-Verte passed away August 7, 2007 at Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of 82. He was the husband of the (late) Naomi Hancock and the son the (late) Alexander LeJeune and the (late) Lorette Bertin. He is survived by his friend Yvonne Comeau, Pointe - Verte. One son John Edward (Brenda) LeJeune, Fredericton. One brother Nelson LeJeune, of Campbellton. One Grandson, John - Derek (Pam) LeJeune of Fredericton. Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by three daughters, Jeanette, Lorraine and Marie, two sisters, Opale and Elizabeth and two brothers, Edgar and Norman. Mr. LeJeune joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 to 1946 and was President of the Pointe - Verte Legion from 1977 - 2000 and North Shore Commander from 2000 - 2004. He was awarded the Royal Canadian Legion's Long Service Medal. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Pointe - Verte Old Age Club.
