LLOYD GEORGE CARTER

CARTER, LLOYD GEORGE Lloyd George Carter of Central Blissville, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on August 11, 2007 at the age of 85. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Mathilda (Lizotte) Carter; four sons, Donald (Bertha) of Central Blissville, Roy (Wendy) and Adam (Edwina) both of Fredericton, James (Renee) of Tracy; three daughters, Donna Davenport (Richard) of Central Blissville, Brenda Dube (Robert) of Hoyt and Virginia Gervais (Leonard) of Fredericton; four sisters, Thelma Arsenault, Marlon Beck, Barbara Gaudet and Pauline Stephenson; one brother, Claude Carter; two half daughters, Valerie Carter and Ina Hyland; 23 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII, having served in United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean, Italy, France, and Germany. Lloyd served from 1939 and was discharged in 1946. In later years he was a laborer at F. C. Alexander's mill. He was a member of Legion Branch #55, and a Licensed Guide, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He is predeceased by his parents, Ina Josephine (Clark) and Roy D. W. Carter; a son, Ronald David Carter; two daughters, Ida and Elaine Carter; a sister, Eileen Embrey; four brothers, Douglas, Keith, Bobby and Donald. There will be no visitation as Lloyd had requested. The family invites you to the Funeral Service to be held at the Blissville Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 2 PM with the Rev. Leo Porter officiating. There will be a legion tribute for Lloyd as part of the service. Following the service a reception will be held in Honor of Lloyd at Legion Branch #55, in Fredericton Junction.
