BOYLE, CPL. CHARLES EDGAR The death of Cpl. Charles Edgar Boyle of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Charles was born in Waasis, NB, he was the son of the late John T. and Alice G. (Carney) Boyle. Charles served 24 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He spent many years in downtown Fredericton and spent many evenings at the Snotty Fox Restaurant. Survived by five sisters, Agnes Phillips of Rusagonis, NB, Loretta Kaley of Woodstock, NB, Mary Boyle of Fredericton NB, Mabel Boyle of Nashawaaksis, NB, and Vera (Donald) Doucette of Marysville, NB and a number of nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Greta Grasse, Serena Boyle and four brothers, Maurice, John, Fred and Pte. James Boyle killed in action in Holland in WWII; two brothers-in-law, Wendell Kaley and Wilbert Phillips. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 11:00 am at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Rev. Monte Peters will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Oromocto, NB. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 will hold a tribute service Thursday at 11:00 am.
