
TERENCE STUART "TERRY" GOODLAD
GOODLAD, TERENCE STUART "TERRY" The passing of Terry Goodlad at Peter D. Clark Centre on August, 17th, 2007 at 1:40 p.m. with his loving wife Phyllis by his side. Beloved father to Kevin (Brenda) and Kathy Ranger (Bud). Grand-dad to Eric and Laura, Martin and Stuart. He will be greatly remembered by his sister, Norma (Tony); his three nieces, Angela, Christine and Debbie and all those who knew him. Born in Yorkshire, England on May 19th, 1927. Attended both Doncaster Technical College and Nottingham University. He served in the British Merchant Navy in WWII then participating in D-Day, shortly after he joined the British Army. After moving to Canada in July 1952 he joined the R.C.A.F where he served two tours of Peacekeeping in Cyprus. He was a well respected Civil Servant. Terry was inducted into the Oromocto Wall of Fame for his many achievements in the sporting world. He won many road racing championships all over the U.S., Canada and Germany, from 5 k's to the Boston Marathon. Later in life he found a love for triathlons. A Memorial Service will be held in New Brunswick at a later date. Donations in Terry's memory may be made to a charity of choice. Beauty without the beloved is like a sword through the heart.
