WOODCOCK, FREEMAN HERBERT The passing of Freeman Herbert Woodcock, of McGivney, NB, occurred on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 9, 1957 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late James and Olive (Maston) Woodcock. Freeman worked for Spark's and Son Hardwood Mill for eighteen years. Freeman is survived by daughter, Joanne Woodcock (Brad Lyons) of Fredericton, NB and her mother, Karen Davidson of Ripples, NB; grandchildren, Dylan and Dawson Lyons; sisters, Noreen Bartlett (Hilton) of Pow River, BC, Roberta Woodcock of Astle, NB, Judy Munn (Donnie) of Taxis River, NB and Wanda Woodcock of McGivney, NB; brothers, Russell (Annette) of Golden Lake, ON, Murray of Astle, NB, Carl, Ricky and Edward of McGivney, NB; aunt, Maggie Austin and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Freeman was predeceased by his sister, Edith Russain; brother, Hayward and nephew, Jeff Woodcock. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, August 31, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's, T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in the McGivney Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
