LAMBE, JACQUELINE JUANITA "JACKIE" Surrounded by her loving family, the death of Jacqueline Juanita "Jackie" Lambe of Oromocto, NB occurred August 31, 2007 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Oromocto, NB, June 30, 1941 she was the daughter of Joan (Nason) Smith and the late Perley W. Smith and the wife of Michael Lambe. Jackie was well known for her volunteer activities in the town of Oromocto, and among others, The St. Lukes Thrift Shop and Crime Stoppers. Survived by her husband, Michael Lambe; her mother, Joan Smith; one son, Geordie (Janet) Lamb of Saint John, NB; one daughter, Wanda Metcalfe of Oromocto, NB; one step-daughter, Heather Lambe of Blissville, NB; one brother, Danny (Carol) Smith of Brampton, ON; one sister, Betty (George) Clark of Oromocto, NB; four grandchildren, Ryan & Shara Metcalfe of Oromocto, NB, and their father Aaron Metcalfe, Samantha Lambe of Geary, NB, and Andrew Lamb of Saint John, NB. Also one niece, Colleen Millican, Oromocto, NB, and nephew's Kevin Millican of Trenton, ON, Gordon Smith of Toronto, ON and Douglas Smith of Toronto, ON. She was predeceased by her father, Perley Smith and a step-son, Kevin Lambe. There will be no visitation by request of the family. Funeral service will be held from St. Luke's Chapel, CFB Gagetown on Friday, Sept 07, 2007, at 2 pm. Padre Greg Costen and Rev. Bob Jones will officiate. A celebration of life reception will follow her service. For those who wish, memorial tributes may made to The Children's Wish Foundation, Oromocto Food Bank, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
