NORRAD, BENIAH VIVIAN The passing of Beniah Vivian Norrad, of Bloomfield Ridge, NB husband of the late Bertha (Dolly) (Price) Norrad, occurred on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1926 in Boiestown, NB, he was the son of the late Winnifred and Bert Norrad. Beniah resided with his grandson Todd. He enjoyed his time at the Boiestown Legion. Beniah is survived by his daughters, Becky (David) Shuve of Magaguadavic Lake, NB, Tanya MacLaggan of Boiestown, NB, Debbie (Wayne) Case and Vanassa (Jeff) Norrad both of Bloomfield, NB, sons, Beniah Jr. (Kelly), Starr and Frederick Norrad all of Cartier, ON; sisters, Flossie Munn of Hayesville, NB and Isabell (Eldon) Black of Boiestown, NB; brothers, Cecil (Margaret) and Alton (Alberta) Norrad both of Bloomfield Ridge, NB, Peter Norrad of Cartier, ON; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Beniah was predeceased by his sister, Zona Munn; brothers, Alwyn, Robin, Jack, Buster, Vance, Starr and Lancey and grandson, Elvis Case. Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Friday, September 21, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Heather Froats officiating. Interment will take place in Bloomfield Ridge Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
