JOHNSTON EDWARD LLOYD LITTLE

LITTLE, JOHNSTON EDWARD LLOYD The passing of Lloyd Edward Johnston Little occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on September 23, 2007. He was 88. Born in St. Stephen NB, he was the son of the late James & Mary Jane (Johnston) Little. Lloyd was employed in the Pulp & Paper Industry and was Superintendent with Price Bro's and Domtar in Quebec. A member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lloyd was a graduate of Milltown High School the Provincial Normal School and U N B (Forestry 1949). He enlisted with the R C A F in 1940 and served in the United Kingdom, Middle East and South East Asia. He was discharged from the R C A F in 1945. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 Fredericton, the Fredericton Golden Club and was also a Life member of the Masonic Lodge in Quebec. Surviving are his wife Betty E. (McNeill) Little, one son Stephen and wife Tracy of Pickering Ontario, 2 grandchildren Travis & Genevieve also of Pickering Ontario, one sister Laura Giddens of St. Stephen, 2 nieces Mary Jane Kilpatrick of Yarmouth, N.S, Mary Laura Brooks of Phoenix, Arizona as well as grandnephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and a sister Verna Kilpatrick. There will be no visitation by request. The service will be held on Thursday September 27th, 2007 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Doug Blaikie officiating. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Interment at a later date. A Legion tribute to will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Bishop's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements (458-1885).
