PAMELA ANNA (NORRAD) GULLISON
GULLISON, PAMELA ANNA (NORRAD) Pamela Anna (Norrad) Gullison, wife of the late Howard Sheldon Gullison, went home to be with her Savior on September 28, 2007 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. She was born on April 6, 1923 in Bloomfield Ridge, Boiestown, NB. She was the daughter of the late R. Alexander and Mary (Boies) Norrad. Pamela is survived by her son, John Howard "Johnny" Gullison (Cynthia) of Kingsley; and a daughter, Ellen Hay (Raymond) of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Kim Currie (Andy) of Carlisle Road, Terry Hay (Shannon) of Nashwaak Bridge, Ellen Anne Matchett (Jody) of Lyttleton; great-grandchildren, Brittany & Brianna Currie, Spencer & Tyler Hay, Paige & Justin Matchett; Pamela is also survived by a chosen daughter, Marie Merrill; and a chosen great-granddaughter, Shyanne Merrill; Pam is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ann Gullison (1969); an infant son, Terry Ralph Gulliso; four sisters, Alice Scott, Josephine Doak, Phyllis Campbell and Pauline Munn; and a chosen sister, Nellie Ross. After graduation from Milltown High School, Milltown, NB, Pam attended Normal School and received a local license. She taught school in Blissfield, Upper Williamsburg, and Lower Williamsburg. After taking several years off to raise a family, Pam returned to Teacher's College in 1959 and taught school in Taymouth, Cross Creek Elementary, one year at Stanley High and retired at Stanley Elementary. Pam was a member of the Cross Creek Baptist Church, Fran's Felloworkers Missionary Ladies Group, N.B.T.A., Retired Teacher's Association and a life member of the Williamsburg Women's Institute. Pam enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting, making crafts and decorating her house inside and out for every occasion. Pam was a collector (bells, music boxes, spoons, plates, thimbles and mugs to mention a few). Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Cross Creek Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 2 pm at the Cross Creek Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Terry Hay, Jody Matchett, Andy Currie, Wayne Waugh, Jim Waugh and Laurie Waugh.
