HELEN VICTORIA GOODINE
GOODINE, HELEN VICTORIA Helen V. Goodine of Smithfield, York County passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 15, 2007. Helen was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1936, a daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Nesbitt) Styran. She was an avid gardener and animal lover and enjoyed all of her various pets. Along with being a wife and mother, Helen had been employed with Kings Landing, the Federal Department of Fisheries and drove school bus for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Cecil R. Goodine; one daughter, Joan Stewart (Don) Ontario; six sons, Raymond Goodine (Debbie), Oshawa, ON, Ronald Goodine (Patty), Harvey Station, Dale Goodine (Anne), Belleville, ON, Steven Goodine (Germaine), Bayswater, NB, Thomas Goodine (Vicki), New Maryland, NB and Jonathan Goodine , Toronto, ON; a brother, George Styran, British Columbia; grandchildren, Andrew (Marie), Jennifer, Ashley, Erin, Robin, Madison, Tiffany and Braden; a great grandson, Jacob; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 415 Route 3, Newmarket, NB on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. by Rev. David Martin. Pallbearers will be her six sons.
