Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Monday, June 23, 2008, Leonard Abbott, age 82 years, formerly of Oderin, Placentia Bay and longtime employee of C.N.T. Predeceased by his wife Rita, brothers: Jack, William and Frank. Survived by his sister Gladys Angel and his nieces and nephews and his sisters-in-law: Kay Abbott, Angela Abbott, Adele Hunt and Rose Casey; as well as other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Chancellor Park for their care. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Society in his memory.
