UPSHALL, ARTHUR HERBERT With sadness, the family announce the death of Arthur Herbert Upshall, age 91, of Wickham, NB, which occurred at the Great Oaks Special Care Home, McDonald's Point, on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Arthur was the husband of the late Mary (Judge) Upshall. Dad cam from England at the age of twelve with his parents and three sisters. A brother and three sisters were born in Canada. He loved the country, and was well known for his vegetable and flower gardens. To Dad there was no better place to live. He was a devoted member of St. Peter's Anglican Church and took pride in maintaining the church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by son, Richard and Cathy Upshall, of Wickham; and daughter, Ann and Paul Smith, of Fredericton; grandsons, Rob and Beth Upshall and Timothy Smith; granddaughters, Debra Brown, Jane Upshall and Sarah and Jeff Buckley; great-grandchildren, Ryan Brown and Ashley Upshall; brother, George and Rita Upshall; sisters, May MacDonald, Nellie and Bill Nickerson, Iris and Cecil Wilson and Ada McNamara; step-daughter-in-law, Linda Watson and family; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen; and second wife, Mary; and sisters, Freda and Flora. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839 - 2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Wickham.
