SAUNDERS, HARRY DOUGLAS The passing of Harry Douglas Saunders, of Forever Young Special Care Home, Clarks Corner, NB husband of the late Leota (Wilson) Saunders, occurred on October 31, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 20, 1929 in Lincoln, NB, he was the son of the late Douglas and Edna (Miller) Saunders. He was the Grounds Keeper of the Fredericton Golf and Country Club. Harry enjoyed music and loved singing Barbershop. Harry is survived by his sister, Geneva Messer of Fredericton, NB; nephews, Danny, Dennis, Wendell, Jim and Bob. Beside his parents, Harry was predeceased by his wife, Leota Saunders. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery.
