MCCARTHY, JENNIE BRIDGET (COSGROVE) Jennie Bridget (Cosgrove) McCarthy, 95, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on Sunday, November 04, 2007. Jennie was born in Newcastle, NB, on November 1, 1912, daughter of the late Michael and Theresa (Nash) Cosgrove. Jennie is survived by three daughter; Gloria Levesque (Glen), Woodstock, NB, Gail Cox, Woodstock, NB, Sandra Wright (Robert), Nackawic, NB, two sons; Blake, Woodstock, NB, Gary, Grand falls, NB, eight grandchildren, eight great grand children, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Beside her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Perley, brothers; John, Thomas, sisters; Theresa, Mary, Alice and Clara. Jennie was the last surviving member of her family. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from St. Gertrude's Catholic Church at 11 AM with Fr. Bill Brennan. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
