PHIPPS, WALTER WILLIAM The passing of Walter Phipps occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday evening, November 25, 2007. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on June 7, 1927, he was a son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Kingston) Phipps. He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Lenentine) Phipps; a brother, James Phipps wife, Lois of Hamilton, Mass.; three nieces, Sharon Ercha of Hamilton, Mass., Nancy Gilbert (Ken) of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Julie Rearic (David) of Scotia, NY. two nephews Jim Phipps (Sandi) of Ipswich, Mass., and Jeff Phipps (Paula) of Lynn, Mass. In addition to his parents Walter was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Phipps and his wife Barbara. As a veteran of World War II, Walter served in the United States Navy. Among other things people could appreciate his neatness, organizational skills and ability to be creative. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. Fredericton with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 29, 2007 from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm with Pastor Karl Ingersoll officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
