JAMES LORNE LINDSAY

LINDSAY, JAMES LORNE James L. Lindsay of Maplewood, York County, NB passed away December 22, 2007 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. James was born at Maplewood in 1929, a son of the late Charles and Esther (Brewer) Lindsay. He is survived by his wife, Mary K. B. (Tester) Lindsay; his six children, Janet Mulikow (Jim), Peggy Lindsay (Fred), Richard Lindsay (Patricia), Lawrence Lindsay (Margaret), Andrew Lindsay (Melodie) and Phillip Lindsay (Vanessa); his thirteen grandchildren, Christian, Jeremy, Julia, Barry, Melissa, Shane, James, Kathleen, Andrew, Paige, Megan, Faith, and Austin; his five great grandchildren, Joshua, Stella, Morgan, Matthew and Heather; three sisters, Izetta Gorman (Arden), Betty DeBruin and Patty Palmer (Weldon); two brothers, Gladwyn Lindsay (Marita) and Gaylon Lindsay (Sharon); a sister-in-law, Nonie; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by two sisters, Bessie and Doris; and three brothers, Basil, George and Wendell. Although there will be no visiting hours, family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held at the Millville Wesleyan Church, 3931 Route 104, Millville on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Cooney officiating. Interment will be later at Maplewood Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Millville Royal Canadian Legion.
