PAYNE, EMERSON ANDREW The death of Emerson Andrew Payne of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008. Emerson was born in Fredericton, NB on June 19th, 1912. He was the son of the late William and Carrie (Simmons) Payne and the husband of Irene Constance (Henry) Payne. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Irene Constance (Henry); one son, Robert William (Judith) Payne of Toronto, ON; one granddaughter, Shannon of Toronto and one grandson, Adam of Vancouver; two sisters- in-law, Edith Henry and Marion Ballard as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, one brother Russell and one sister, Elsie Evans. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home 160 York Street, Fredericton on Friday, January 4th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held at St. Peters Anglican Church on the Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB, on Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at 2 pm. Rev. Dr. Ross Hebb will officiate.
