LAWTHER, E. VIRGINIA MARIE Virginia Lawther daughter of William and Emily MacRoberts passed away peacefully in St. Thomas, Ont, on Tuesday January 1st, 2008 in her 68th year. Virginia will be dearly missed by her husband Ian of 48 years who was blessed to be at her bedside. The world's greatest mother and grandmother will be missed always by her children: Robert, his wife Debra, granddaughter Jessica, grandson, Dillon and Derek, his wife Reina, granddaughter, Samantha, grandson, Stuart. Others mourning her loss are Virginia's brother, Donald, his wife Myrtle, Fred, his wife Karen, Thomas his wife Norma and sisters, Theresa Atkinson, Geraldine her husband, Sydney Kirsh, Louella her husband Ian Hart and many dear friends across Canada and abroad. She was a popular aunt to many nieces, nephews and their families. Virginia was predeceased by brother, Charles, Bernard and sisters, Mary, Olive and Eve. The family would like to sincerely thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of Elgin Manor St. Thomas, Ont., Chateau Gardens, Aylmer Ont. and Atlantic Baptist Home Charlottetown PEI for their loving care of Virginia. Virginia's greatest loves were her family, friends and faith in God. Visitation will be on Tuesday January 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Rowlings Funeral Home 7795 # 7 Highway Musquodoboit Harbour NS. Celebration of Virginia's life will be on Wednesday, January 9th at 10:00 am. at Saint Anselm's West Chezzetcook NS. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Parkinson's and Arthritis societies would be appreciated.
