MRS. SERENA AGNES WARREN

WARREN, MRS. SERENA AGNES Serena Agnes Warren of London passed away peacefully at Riverbend Place, Cambridge, ON, on Monday, December 31, 2007 in her 93rd year. She was born in Springbrook, Kent Co., NB on August 30, 1915 the daughter of William Markey and Annie Brown. Serena, the wife of the late Earl L. Warren. Loving mother of Garth (Helen) Warren of Cambridge, Dollena (Philippe) Giguere of Sherbrooke, QE, Neal (Diane) Warren of Kitchener, Brian (Joanne) Warren of London. Proud grandmother of Ron (Lori), David (Janet), late Steven, Joanne (Dean), John (Chantal), Martine (late Eric), Mark (Annie), Tara (Bob), Kimberly (Dave), Shauna, Brett (Victoria), Jeremy (Tracy), Rebecca (Jason), and also 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Cecilla Richard of Sackville, NB, Phyllis Warman of Rexton, NB and sister-in-law of Carl Swift and Ruth Markey of Moncton, NB. Predeceased by her brother, Edward and sisters, Mary, Anne, Teresa, Margaret. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Serena was a teacher for many years in NB and London. Serena and family ran a general store in Gagetowm, NB 1950-1955, then moved to London. After retirement, Serena enjoyed being a coordinator of London Bed and Breakfast for many years. Special thanks to caring, loving staff at Riverbend Place. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, Ontario, 519-641-1793. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Covenant House or London Health Sciences Foundation - Heart Transplant Program or Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
