Veryl Gerald Forbes passed away suddenly November 12, 2008 at the age of 78. Veryl was born in Mortlach July 24, 1930 to Margaret and George Forbes Jr. He attended school in Mortlach and upon completion, began employment with the C.P.R., a career which spanned over 38 years. After Veryl retired, he began a woodworking hobby making a special type of wooden pictures called "Intarsia", several of which now hang proudly in Japan. He was an avid bird watcher, especially "his" martins which returned each year to the houses he had built for them. He also enjoyed photography, taking many photos of birds, animals and family. Veryl was a nature lover and enjoyed many happy camping trips. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and George Jr., a son Craig, in-law parents Mike and Lena Worobey of Saskatoon, brother-in-law Walter Worobey of Calgary, brother-in-law Victor (Caroll) Worobey of Nepean, ON and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife Eva, son Clark of Moose Jaw and his children Jason and Daniel of Saskatoon, son Jeffrey of Vancouver, sister Helen Haukaas of Moose Jaw, several nieces, nephews and cousins, an aunt Agnes Forbes and his special dog "Scooter". In keeping with Veryl's wishes, no funeral service or gatherings are to be held. Cremation has taken place. Forever Remembered
