COUGLE, AUDREY E. (CALVIN) The death of Mrs. Audrey E. (Calvin) Cougle, wife of Trueman A. Cougle of Saint John West occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 15, 2008. Born in Saint John on May 7, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Jennie M. (Harkins) and John T. Calvin. Mrs. Cougle was a member of St. Jude's Anglican Church, and was Past President of the Trainmen and Engineers Lodge for Women. Being a homemaker and seamstress, she made quilts for several members of her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Surviving in addition to her husband Trueman, are three sons, Mark (Pauline) Cougle, Brian (Dawn) Cougle, all of Saint John, Barry Cougle of Vancouver; one daughter, Carolyn (Gordon) Coburn of Fredericton; one brother, Everett Calvin of Saint John; one sister, Doris Martin; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Calvin, all of Saint John; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by two brothers, Laurence and John Calvin. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. Funeral service will be held at Fallsview Chapel on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. Visiting at Castle "Fallsview" on Wednesday from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
