SAMPSON, GEORGE WINSTON The death of George Sampson occurred on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. George was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, and a great granddaughter, Reece Patricia Ryde. Surviving George is his wife of 55 years, Patricia (LeVasseur) Sampson; three sons, Dave (Betty) Sampson of Spruce Grove, AB, Mark (Rita) Sampson of Oromocto, NB, and Mike Sampson of Surprise, AZ; three daughters, Andrea (Mac) Clarke of Saskatoon, SK, Kathy (Laurent) Morin of Yellowknife, NW, and Terri (Jim) Bennett of Long Creek, PE; three sisters, Alice Dinnick, Mary McKnight, and Teresa Gayton; and one brother, Joe Sampson. George is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A legion tribute and memorial service will occur at a later date in the year.
