HELEN PATCH
PATCH, HELEN Helen Patch (nee Perryman) passed away January 7, 2008 in Victoria, B.C. after 85 years of make the world a brighter place. Helen was born in Hamilton, Ontario March 12, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Perryman. She trained at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal as a Registered Nurse. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Lloyd (1921-2003). She was a wonderful mother to Linda Baker (John Coenraads) of Victoria, Richard of Ottawa, Jonathan (Catherine McKinlay-Key) of Victoria, and Jeffrey (Janet) of Fredericton, NB; grandmother to Christopher, Ian, Michael, and William; great-grandmother to Geena and Rose, step-grandmother to Sascha and Emma. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters-in-law, Mildred Clark and Lina Patch; her good friends at Somerset House; and her long-time, dear friends: Anna, Helen, and Nathalie. Thank you for all the caring and compassionate help received at the Royal Jubilee Hospital from nurses Karen, Shannon and Farrah, and Drs. Richard Nuttall and Ron Youngash. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society.
