JAMES "JIM" LEONARD MAGEE
MAGEE, JAMES "JIM" LEONARD The death of Jim Magee of Cambridge-Narrows, NB occurred suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, January 19th, 2008. Born in Saint John, NB on April 9th, 1945, he was the son of the late Mary K. (Wilbur) and Harold Alexander Magee. Although Jim was a quiet man by nature, when he spoke, people listened. In his off time he loved to be surrounded by nature and especially loved his time kayaking and trailering. He also created beautiful pieces of stained glass art that will be treasured by his family and friends for many lifetimes. Jim will be missed by his wife, Barbara (McCloskey) Magee; daughter, Shelley Girouard (Mike) of Quispamsis, NB; brothers, Michael (Carol) of Saint John, NB and Harold Alexander "Bud" (Linda) of Moncton, NB as well as several nieces, nephews and friends from all walks of life. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Charles. At Jim's request, there will be no visitation. A private service will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home with Brian McCloskey officiating. Interment will take place in Cambridge-Narrows, NB. For those who wish, memorial tributes to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the IWK in Jim's honor, would be appreciated instead of flowers. www.mcadamsfh.com (458-9170)
